Well, I had a couple of days where I was improving and that’s good. I got a phone call to come in and see Dr. Guzman early and thought that was a good idea since I seem to have trouble with the moves he gave me to do.

Day 5 Post L1/L2 Laminectomy

I’m doing much better. I had a bit of a rough night and thought that I was going to have a bad day. I was surprised that after I was up the pain went away.

I chatted and had a couple of cups of coffee with Thelma. Bill was working graveyard shift and joined us at 8AM. I was in my zero gravity chair and iced but didn’t do too much. Thelma pointed out that I was doing more moving then I did last time so I’ve been really aware of that.

A Cooking Day

Mom, Dad, Joan and DarleneToday has not been a good day. I’m still in pain and very tired. I went for my walk just after I brushed my teeth. I didn’t even want to think about it. Just do it. I had to use my cane again and was careful and slow.

I’ve spent the day prepping food for the Indian meal. It takes a little longer because I have to do it in stages. We’re having a great new curried chicken dish with a cumin seeded basmati rice. It’s been great fun making it. The chicken has bVille Franceeen marinating in the fridge all day. It’s grilled later and served with a curry sauce.I’m just ignoring the back as KCmuch as I can. I’ve done my exercises and walk and I think that I might go out for a second walk. Don’t know how long but just trying to develop the habit.
